Turnover of Demo Projects for Transport Refrigeration set on March 6

Demo Projects for Transport Refrigeration under the Global Partnership for Improving the Food Cold Chain in the Philippines (FCC) project will be turned over on March 6, 2024 at the Cold Chain Innovation (CCI) Hub in Taguig City.

The last batch of the Demo Projects presents solutions for energy efficient and low-carbon transport refrigeration including R290 Refrigerated Trucks and natural refrigerant based marine shipping container.

The PBX R290 Refrigerated Trucks use a cooling module that is highly efficient with a low maintenance system. It has a low pressure, and is adapted to future electrification of transport fleet. The shipping container, Naturaline, is Carrier’s first natural refrigerant based solution as an environmentally sustainable alternative for refrigerated marine transport.

Ideamorphosis Inc., InsightSCS Inc. and Icebox Logistics Services Inc. will receive the units subsidized under the FCC project.

Demo Projects are expected to generate business models on the viability of natural refrigerant technologies for the cold chain, alongside its expected economic, social and environmental benefits.

PBX R290 Refrigerated Trucks and Naturaline units are showcased at the CCI-Hub. To learn more about the technologies, interested parties may book a visit by contacting Mr. Manny Azucena thru email mpajegus@yahoo.com
